Urbana named one of DC's "Hottest Restaurant Bar Scenes"
Urbana has been nominated as one of five finalists for the RAMMY Award for "Hottest Bar Scene" by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. We're thrilled to receive this recognition and we owe it all to our loyal customers for helping support us in our first year.

A Tradition Made Modern
In the tradition of French and Italian restaurants and bars, Urban introduces its own version of the Aperitif Hour. Every afternoon, from 4 to 7, Urbana features Italian beer, wines and sparklers along with two favorite cocktails, the Urbanito and the Biarritz Cocktail, at prices ranging from $4 to $5. Pastis, the classic anise-flavored aperitif enjoyed in southern France, is available for $5. Patrons can also enjoy Urbana's specialty pizzas ($7).

Served in Style
In the style of European dining, Urbana's bar serves a menu of assorted cheeses and small plates, known as "cichetti" (chi-KEHT-tee). Typically served in bars all over Venice, cichetti are often referred to as Venetian tapas priced from $6 to $16, you'll find favorites like fried wild shrimp with spicy pepper sauce and focacetta with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto.
